Can you tell us about your business, when it was formed and what you do?

Sassi Lift Systems Limited (formally Liftmaterial (GB) Limited) was originally established in 1972 and continued to grow steadily, then in 2000 we became part of Sassi Holdings.

Sassi have been manufacturing and distributing Lift machines worldwide since 1946.

In over 50 years of trading SLS have gained an enviable reputation in the UK Lift Industry as suppliers of high quality, well-engineered and technically well supported Machines and Components.

How many times have you exhibited at the Lift & Escalator Symposium?

This will be our 5th Symposium now, our first was in 2019.

Why is it an important event for you to attend?

It is a great opportunity to meet face to face with influential people within our Industry, as well as learning about the latest ideas and technological advancements.

What can delegates expect to see on your stand?

We will have a range of various products as well our latest product guide.

What would you say to anyone who hasn’t attended? Why should they visit?

It’s a great opportunity to learn about the latest technology, meet with new and existing customers and meeting like-minded people from our Industry.

Which sessions are you looking forward to the most?

I am looking forward to ‘Dynamic rope loads and traction ratios under adverse lift operating conditions’ with Stefan Kaczmarczyk and also ‘Identifying and addressing the causes of excessive wear in lift suspension means through rope load analysis’ with Tim Ebeling
