Tell us about your company – when it was formed and what you do

DAC is a leading UK manufacturer of lift control systems and associated peripheral products. Established in 2010, the business has grown consistently year on year by focusing on innovation, reliability, and customer support.

Our core values centre on delivering best value, maintaining excellence in everything we do, and being dependable and proactive for our customers.

More recently, we’ve expanded our offering with a new range of serial-based controllers, in addition, AURA, our IoT-based remote monitoring platform. These innovations are helping our customers improve performance, visibility, and long-term asset management.

How many times have you attended the Lift & Escalator Symposium?

We’ve exhibited at the Symposium every year since its inception, except for the very first event. We’re strong advocates of the Symposium and see it as a key fixture in the industry calendar, so we fully intend to continue exhibiting each year.

Why is the event important for you to attend?

The Symposium is incredibly valuable for us, primarily because of the quality of networking it offers. It brings together key stakeholders from across the lift industry, creating opportunities to have meaningful conversations around legislation, emerging technologies, and market direction.

It also provides the perfect platform to showcase our latest innovations while staying closely connected to the needs and challenges of our customers.

What key themes are you seeing with customers this year?

This year, we’re seeing a strong shift towards smarter, more connected control systems. IoT integration is becoming a major driver, not only within lift controllers but also in connecting third-party equipment to create more intelligent, responsive systems.

There is also a growing demand for simplified installation. The move away from traditional hard-wired systems towards serial, plug-and-play solutions is accelerating, driven by the need to reduce installation time and improve efficiency on site.

Lead times and ease of deployment remain critical, and customers are increasingly looking for solutions that combine advanced functionality with practical usability.

What can delegates expect to see on your stand?

Delegates can expect to see a broad representation of our latest technologies, including our new range of serial controllers and AURA, our remote monitoring platform.

More importantly, they can expect practical conversations. We engage with the full spectrum of the industry—from consultants and contractors to end users and new entrants—and we’re always keen to understand challenges and explore how we can support them.

We aim to demonstrate not just products, but real-world solutions that deliver value across the entire lift lifecycle.

What would you say to someone who has not attended before?

If you’ve not attended before, the Symposium is one of the best opportunities in the UK lift industry to stay informed and connected.

It offers a unique combination of technical insight, thought leadership, and networking. Whether you’re looking to understand the latest legislation, explore new technologies, or build relationships within the industry, it’s an event that delivers real value.

Which sessions are you most looking forward to?
