5 minutes with…. Dennis Burnham - CE Electronics Ltd
Can you tell us about your business, when it was formed and what you do?
C.E. Electronics Ltd was first incorporated back in July of 1992. Since then, our main focus has been to provide the lift industry with the highest quality lift indicators and screens. C.E. Electronics Ltd have had our products installed in nearly 2,000 sites across the UK and Europe. I am the new director of C.E. Electronics Ltd, having taken over management of the company in April of 2025.
Why is it an important event for you to attend?
Over the last year C.E. Electronics has gone through a lot of change, both internally and from an external view. It is important to us that we can present ourselves to the lift industry as the new C.E. Electronics while maintaining our high standards and quality.
What would you say are the key themes you’re seeing with customers this year?
In my short time in the Lift Industry in a very small segment, I don't have a large basis to make assessments on the general themes for the year. However, in our customer base this year we have found that a lot of our customers have moved to screens rather than typical LED indicators. Suggesting the move to modernity and modern design in lifts.
What can delegates expect to see on your stand?
We have many new products and a whole new product line that we are looking forward to showing all the delegates. Hopefully, our indicator display will leave nothing to be desired!
Which sessions are you looking forward to the most?
The lift industry is a new beast for me, so I am looking forward to seeing as many of the sessions as I possibly can. However, given my background I am mostly looking forward to the sessions with Rory Smith and Stefan Kaczmarczyk.
